HOUSE SITTING SERVICE PROVIDES PEACE OF MIND

Our House sitting Services started off as a favor for friends going out of town for a few weeks. In May 1996 we extended our Cleaning Service to include House Sitting when I became aware that this personal service was very much needed. I was quite amazed at the immediate demand we had from Home Owners everywhere, concerned about HOME SECURITY and PET CARE when they were going on their vacations and business trips.

Very soon after its beginning, it became very clear that to make it work we needed to put all our time into House sitting. Before long we had many happy clients who realized after arriving home and finding everything (including their pets) as good as when they left, that this could now be a new way of life for them. They could now go on all the vacations they wanted for as long as they wanted with total peace of mind. Many of our clients have used our service now several times.

No longer do you need to take chances when you go on vacation asking your next door neighbor to keep their eye on your place, or asking a family member, (even though you know they are too busy to look after it the way it is normally looked after)or even worse ask a friend of a friend. You certainly no longer need to pluck the name of someone you don’t know out of a directory and hope that they will do.

House sitting Services offers you a service which provides a complete package of services to you, the Home Owner, when you are away from home on vacation or need to be away from your property for any lengthy period of time. The service is aimed at professionally managing your property when you are away from homeon vacation or a business trip. The service, allows you, the Homeowner to go away knowing that everything at home is being taken care of while you are enjoying yourself.

Pick up of daily newspaper
Yard watering - front, sides and back
Plant watering (indoor and outdoor)
House cleaning - all rooms
Grocery pick up
Mail drop off & Pick up of daily mail
Veterinary care drop off and pick up
Setting of appointments with handymen or carpet cleaners
Car wash and / or gas fill up of vehicles
Administration of medicine, if required
Pick up toys or food for pets
Pick up and drop off of pets for grooming / washing

A very special consideration is given to the care of your Pets. Before you leave , an appointment will be set up between yourself, your pets and your house sitter, to make sure that your pets and the house sitter(s) will bond. It also gives you the opportunity to get to know the House sitter a little before you go, so that you don’t feel that you have a stranger in the house.

As well as providing a detailed list of your pets likes and dislikes and both good and naughty habits, we ask that the homeowners also lodge a list of specific tasks for the House sitter, which can include answering the phone to explain your absence, forwarding mail, watering the garden, cleaning of pools and spas, and any other duties that may be required.

If you are away for a long period, House sitting Services do an Inspection of your property every eight weeks in the same manner that we would do if it were a Rental Property. If you have an email address, we are happy to take digital photos of the house, pets and garden and send them to you, so that you can be re-assured everything is well at home.

How many times have we all thought about taking a vacation, only to change our minds, because of the concerns for the security of your home, the garden and the indoor plants, and especially the Masters and Mistresses of the house, generally considered the real “bosses” - "The Family Pet". If you are like me, then the answer is probably “ too many times to count”.

We believe that when you do go away, the

best place for your pets is in their own home. Sure, they may possibly fret for you to start with, but we would like to think that after a short period of adjustment they will realize that the “stranger” in their home who is feeding them and looking after them, may not be as good as “mom” or “dad” but they’re not a bad second.

That “stranger” is a HOUSE SITTER. As an alternative to either staying home , or going away and worrying about whether your animals are O.K. away from the comforts of their own home, worrying about your plants and burglars, a House Sitter is the ideal answer.

Our Normal rates are $30.00 per night to stay, plus $5.00 per pet per day.
